Karl Anthony Towns over the years has proved himself to be a versatile big man in the NBA. He is athletic, drives with the ball, uses his strength to his advantage, and is very handy from beyond the arc. The 2022 3pt shooting champion has helped the Minnesota Timberwolves reach the seventh spot in the Western Conference.
On Monday night, he dropped his first 60-point game against the San Antonio Spurs. Along with his great scoring display, he also grabbed 17 rebounds. Though everyone was focusing on the points he scored, Towns wanted to dedicate this performance to the person who helped him to get to this point.
In 2020, his mother, Jacqueline, passed away from Covid-19. Karl-Anthony recently took to Twitter and dedicated his performance to his mother. After that, NBA Fans reacted after seeing All-Star Karl’s heartwarming message after his 60-point game.
