NBA world Erupts as Lebron James Violently Criticized by the….
This is not the first time Kareem Abdul-Jabbar criticizes LeBron James.
LeBron James has long been a leading voice when it comes to social issues and racial injustice, but apparently, that’s not enough for Los Angeles Lakers legend, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
On Sunday, Abdul-Jabbar spoke to reporters at Crypto.com Arena ahead of the Lakers’ match against the Denver Nuggets. He was there to present Carmelo Anthony with the new Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Social Champion Trophy, an award given to the player who most impacted his community by using his platform for positive change.
Anthony became the first recepient of the award for his work while playing for thePortland Trail Blazers last year. While at the arena, Abdul-Jabbar did not waste the opportunity to criticize James, as he so often does, saying the King needs to do more with his platform.

“Some of the great things that he’s done, he’s standing on both sides of the fence almost,” Abdul-Jabbar said. “It makes it hard for me to accept that when he’s committed himself to a different take on everything. It’s hard to figure out where he’s standing. You’ve got to check him out every time.
“With the issues I was talking, things that really affect the Black community, he should be careful. That’s all I’m asking.”
Even though Abdul-Jabbar gave James his flowers for some of the things he has done for the community, he went on to say that King James should be embarrassed for some of the things he’s done. Abdul-Jabbar, the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, did not specify what things James should be embarrassed about, but it’s likely he was referring to the “Big Balls” dance
and his ambiguity when it comes to the COVID-19 vaccine.
“I admire the things that he’s done that have gotten all our attention,” Abdul-Jabbar said. “Sending a whole school to college? Wow. That’s amazing. His thoughtfulness and willingness to back it up with his wallet, you got to give him credit for that. So I’m not throwing stones. I just wish he wouldn’t – you know, some of the things he’s done, he should be embarrassed about. That’s just where I’m coming from.”

Earlier this year, Abdul-Jabbar said “GOATS don’t dance” in response to James doing the “Big Balls” dance in a game against the Indiana Pacers. He also slammed James for sharing a meme comparing COVID-19 to a flu and the common cold.
