After the game, Stephen Curry was speaking in his post-game press conference about the missed technical free throws.
One reporter asked Curry what it would take for him to allow his teammate Jordan Poole to take the technical free throws, considering how Curry missed them during the game. Curry joked that he would never allow Poole to take them, even if he missed 10 technical free throws in a game.

Curry had an incredible game, but he came off the bench again. After sustaining an injury toward the end of the regular season, the Warriors decided to be careful with him, and not overuse him as soon as he returned.
Despite coming off the bench, Curry stole the show, scoring 34 points and making 5 three-pointers against a Denver Nuggets defense that was scrambling to try and stop the Golden State Warriors.

As for Jordan Poole, he scored 29 points, the second most from anyone in the game right behind Stephen Curry. Poole has become an essential part of the Golden State Warriors rotation and has allowed the Warriors to be careful with Curry, while not losing too much in their attack.
