Golf World Reacts to Absurd Pricing at the PGA Championship
A recent Twitter post from the Operations Officer of No Laying Up, Cody McBride, is the reason the golf world is mad at the PGA.
There are only two days left for the Southern Hills Golf Club of Tulsa to become the venue of the 2022 PGA Championship. As expected of the major championship week, the golf world has nothing but talk about it. While all the news coming from the venue has been making the fans happy, a recent revelation has killed the mood.
According to the post, every item on the menu at the Southern Hills charges more than the actual price. Water is priced at $6, whereas the beer costs $18.

The PGA only allow one unopened bottle of water from outside per ticket and does not allow everyone to take food inside the course. Therefore, the spectators will need to buy some food items or beverages from the stall inside the venue. However, since the prices are higher than average, people will have a hard time buying them.
Justin Thomas used his sarcastic side to react to the injustice of the PGA. “$18 for a freakin beer?????? What does it cure cancer or something!!????” JT’s comment was deleted after some time but not before the others took a screenshot and posted it online.
The fans also shared the same opinion as the Tour player.
