Elon Musk vows to stop the ‘woke mind virus’ from destroying civilization.
Elon Musk, the line from Batman films that goes ‘You either die a hero or you live long-enough to see yourself become the villain’ was never more present than right now. When he started his career as a tech mogul, Musk had the sole purpose of helping human civilization lead a more high quality life whilst protecting the planet in the process.
His advancements with Tesla, Space X and Neuralink invites us to think this is completely possible within the next decade. However, actions speak louder than words. During his most recent Ted Talks interview, he said he loves human civilization but he keeps antagonizing one side of it and core liberal ideas. In a recent Twitter exchange, he coined a term that far right conservatives love.
A Twitter user directly made the following inquiry: “Just curious…what is your motivation to become politically active? Why make yourself a target?” the Twitter user asked. “You are trying to get mankind to Mars and alert the public to the danger of AI. Why sabotage these worthwhile goals by wading into political controversy? Is it worth it?”

Regardless of what they discussed during their meeting, Elon Musk meeting with Brazil president Jair Bolsonaro has to be one of the dumbest PR decisions of his entire career. The entire world was already considering him a right-wing sympathizer but this is the one that completely placed him in that spectrum.
Bolsonaro himself is already considered a bonafide super villain of epic proportions that is compared with the likes of Kim Jong-un and Vladimir Putin. What we all feared is apparently happening in front of our eyes: the wealthiest man in the world is slowly turning into that comic-book super villain who aims for world domination. Remember that absolute power corrupts absolutely. Can Elon Musk still be saved?
