LeBron James’ Lakers Destroyed by NBA Legend Charles Barkley After Darwin Ham Signing.
The Los Angeles Lakers have finally hired a new head coach. After months of searching, the Lakers hired Milwaukee Bucks assistant Darvin Ham to coach LeBron James and crew. However, not a lot of people were impressed with the signing and one of them is NBA Legend Charles Barkley.
The Lakers had fired their head coach Frank Vogel after a horrible season in which they failed to make the playoffs. The Lakers were absolutely atrocious at times and, despite having three superstars, they never got going. And the day after the season ended, Vogel was let go.
The search for a new head coach started. They interviewed tons of candidates and went on new ways to find their head coach. And they finally chose Darvin Ham.
Chuck was on the Dan Patrick show and he was asked what he thought about the Lakers hiring Darvin Ham. He said, “Well I’m glad Darvin got an opportunity ’cause he’s paid his dues, He’s a nice guy. We’ll have to see what kind of coach he is. But listen, if one of your coaches is close to the same age as your players, your team not gonna be any good anyway. The Lakers, they got a serious dilemma on their hands.”
Charles Barkley destroys LeBron James over…
“Their best player’s gonna be 40. Anthony Davis has never been healthy. Obviously, Russ is gonna be there one more year, so what’s really bad about the situation — next year is gonna be the same as this year. And then LeBron just gonna be a year older, and then they’ll have Russ off the books.”

Ham has been the assistant coach at the Bucks for years now and he was the title last year. Everyone at the Bucks spoke highly of him and Giannis even applauded him. Even LeBron James welcomed him to the team.

But Ham will have his task cut out. His first problem will be to identify how to fit in with Russell Westbrook. Vogel was unable to do that and it seems like Russ will be with the Lakers next season as well. And he will have all the pressure in the world to deliver in a place where media and fan scrutiny is at the highest.
