‘Its Rafa’s Tournament to Lose’ – Russian Tennis Legend Believes No One Can Stop Rafael Nadal From Clinching a Record 14th French Open Crown.
The ongoing French Open has been a roller coaster ride. However, what is constant is the King of Clay’s performances. Rafael Nadal is well on his way to clinching his 14th French Open title this year. He has outclassed players such as the Canadian tennis ace Felix Auger-Aliassime and the defending champion Novak Djokovic to reach the semifinals of the tournament.
Nadal will soon lock horns with the current World No.3, Alexander Zverev, to secure a seat in the last round of the Grand Slam. With a big clash on the doorstep, tennis fans and ex-players are busy giving their opinions and pedictions.
The former World No.1 and two time Grand Slam champion spoke about the upcoming semifinal match between Zverev and Nadal. And said, “As much as I like Sascha Zverev, I don’t think he has a chance. Believe it or not, Ruud is the only one who can trouble Rafa. But it’s Rafa’s tournament to lose and when we get to the later stages, when he smells the opportunity, he plays even better.”
Nadal got the better of current World No.1 in a close match by a scoreline of 6-2 4-6 6-2 7-6(4). Whereas Zverev battled past the 19-year-old Carlos Alcaraz in a four-set thriller, 6-4 6-4 4-6 7-6(7).

The Serb gave names of musical instruments which match the vibe of three of them. In the case of the Spaniard, he said, “For Nadal, I need something energetic, so let’s say electric guitar or drums.”
Further, he was pretty sure that Federer’s vibe match with a violin and for himself he chose saxophone. With Djokovic back on court, only Federer is missing from the ‘Big Three’.
