NBA fans react to Kerr Kriisa confidence as he pesters the NBA super star, Luka Dončić over…
Every hero needs a villain, and for Arizona Basketball, that is exactly what we have in point guard, Kerr Kriisa.
A quickly growing fan favorite with the Wildcats, the Estonian native showed his fight and feistiness this week as he and the Estonian National Team competed at the FIBA World Cup Qualifier.
Facing a tough challenge as they took on NBA Super Star Luka Dončić and the Slovenian National Team earlier in the week, Kerr did what he does best, competing, and getting under the opponent’s skin.
Early on, that was on full display as tensions were a bit high in their showdown with Slovenia. Kerr and Dončić were seen chirping at each other, and those tensions carried on a bit after the game.
Not mincing words about the situation either, here is what Kerr said after the game, “We don’t let people just step on us. Otherwise, we could have just stayed in Estonia and not even come here. If somebody says something to us, we talk back… He showed a reaction so it means it’s pretty easy to get into his head too.”

It may not have been a day to remember for Kriisa and Estonia in their 104-83 loss to Slovenia; however, you have to credit Kerr for his fight and competitive spirit.

The soon-to-be junior point guard may draw some criticism from fans; however, one thing you cannot deny is his confidence and a no-fear attitude.
Kriisa drew a lot of hate and vitriol from opposing fans last season, as he and the Wildcats adopted and embodied the ‘bad boy’ role in college basketball.
