NBA Twitter tr**ls LeBron James over recent…
Twitter doesn’t forgive anyone, least of all celebrities who may have said something that isn’t exactly accurate. That just happened to LeBron James when he tried to pay tribute to Takeoff, the recently murdered member of the hip-hop group Migos.
On Sunday, during his post-game press conference following the Los Angeles Lakers loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, LeBron said he started listening to Migos in 2010, before they gained fame.
“I was listening to those guys my first year with the Heat, in 2010. You can ask any of my teammates back then, they had no idea who Migos were… I was like, ‘I’m telling you, these guys are next,'” James said.

NBA Twitter tr**ls LeBron James over recent…
But as there is always a tweet or someone who is dedicated to verify word for word what the stars declare, James’ statement was immediately denied. Several fans reminded him that Migos first mixtape was not released until August 2011, and their first official single, ‘Versace’, was released in 2013.
Migos, whose name stems from the phrase Three Amigos, consisted of Quavo, Takeoff and Offset, but Takeoff was shot and killed last November 1 in Houston, Texas.

Faced with what LeBron said, who apparently wanted to brag about being one of the first to listen to Migos, users reminded him of some other lies he has told throughout his 20-year NBA career.
