Mick Schumacher has updated his Twitter profile picture to a snap of himself as a youngster with his father Michael as the F1 legend’s health battle continues.
The seven-time Formula One World Drivers’ Champion has been kept out of the public eye since a 2013 skiing accident – and has continued to be celebrated by his family and fans.
With aspiring F1 star Mick sharing an Instagram snap of himself with his father back in January, which picked up 1.6million likes, he has now changed his Twitter profile picture.
The 23-year-old posted the photo, of himself as a toddler being held by his father with the hashtag #NeuesProfilbild which translates to new profile picture.
The change has got more than 70,000 likes in a matter of hours thanks to the love for his father, who is considered by many to be the greatest driver in history.
Having been moved home in 2014 after hitting his head in the skiing fall, Schumacher is still recovering in Gland, Switzerland, nine years later.

Former Ferrari boss Jean Todt has been one of the few people to have visited Schumacher since his accident and offered an update in September.
He said: “For me, it is a privilege to be close, in the family with Michael, with Corinna, with Mick and Gina,” he said, as reported by gazzetta.it.

“Their life changed on December 29, 2013. They have to live everything differently. The important thing is that there is the closeness of friends. And Keep Fighting, their foundation.”
Schumacher’s Instagram account has told fans he’ll “keep fighting” as they thanked those who wished him happy birthday back in January, when his son put a snap on Instagram.
They posted to his 1.2million Instagram followers today: “Thank you so much everybody for the warm birthday wishes! They are greatly appreciated [thumbs up emoji] #TeamMichael #KeepFighting #KeepFightingMichael.”
