Draymond Green throws Steph Curry under the bus after the Game 3 loss
Warriors veteran Draymond Green seemingly threw Stephen Curry under the bus during the latest episode of his podcast, “The Draymond Green Show,” following a Game 3 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference semifinals of the 2023 NBA Playoffs.
Green, 33, revealed that Curry went up to him in Game 3 to say that he was unable to figure out what LeBron James was doing.
“Steph said to me, ‘Yo, I’m trying to figure Bron out,'” Green said. “After not taking a shot through most of the first half, he ends up getting it going with 21, eight, and eight. You know, it was big, really big. He hit some big shots, some timely shots
“One of the threes he hit on the wing in the first half was a very timely bucket, and it slowed our run down.”
Green’s friendship with James might be starting to affect his performance. In Game 3, he scored just two points, grabbed a couple of rebounds, and nearly fouled out by the final frame.
