Bob Myers Opens Up On His Relationship With Steve Kerr Amidst Exit From The Warriors
He added: “Winning a championship in 2015 with him; when Steve is in the room, it just makes you feel better about the room. He has a way of doing that. You’ve all been in here with him so many times, and it’s his calming presence. He’s got, like I said, decency and a humanity that is rare, and also is a fantastic coach and has led this organization for, I think, nine years and will continue to lead this organization.”

Bob Myers helped the Warriors in reaching six NBA Finals and winning four titles. He was the driving force behind Kevin Durant’s move to the Dubs in 2016. It is evident that finding Myers’ replacement will be a tough task for the Warriors.
But maybe Steve Kerr, his longtime friend, can one day step up and fill his shoes. Kerr has a great relationship with the Warriors players and ownership. He will be the perfect person to replace Myers.

Bob Myers’ exit essentially means the beginning of the end of the Warriors’ dynasty. The Dubs still have talented players on their roster and can easily win at least one more championship before it’s all said and done.
Keeping that in mind, it’s certainly shocking to see Myers leave the team. The 48-year-old revealed that he is no longer fully committed to the job.
“I have too many different emotions that I’m still processing. But the bottom line is that this job, the one I’m in, requires complete engagement and complete effort. If you can’t do it, then you shouldn’t do it, and so that’s the answer. I can’t do that to our players, I can’t do that to Joe. I really can’t do it to myself, and that’s a question I’ve been wrestling with… I’ve only known how to do things one way my whole life, and it doesn’t feel right to do something when I can’t give it my everything.”
