This past weekend’s race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway gave fans several talking points. Among them was Ryan Blaney finally breaking his winless streak, Denny Hamlin and Chase Elliott clashing, and many more. There was also a minor incident between Bubba Wallace and Aric Almirola during the rain stoppage period. That devolved into the Stewart-Haas Racing driver shoving Wallace for an apparent slight, but that’s another story. Amid all of this, one storyline involving Joe Gibbs Racing driver, Martin Truex Jr nearly slipped under the radar.
In the build-up to the race, Truex Jr was spotted with a woman.
Now, it had been well-established for some time, that Truex Jr and his partner Sherry Pollex had split. According to the Joe Gibbs Racing star, he would continue to support his former partner, and they don’t want to address the matter any further. As a result, many people wondered who this mysterious woman was, and whether she was Truex Jr’s girlfriend.
Naturally, the new face in the NASCAR paddock caught everyone’s attention. It wasn’t long before people began speculating about her identity and who she was to Truex Jr. Some people joked about finally being able to stop using the ‘SingleMarty19’ hashtag. Others acknowledged that Truex Jr’s mysterious companion is all that anyone can talk about.

Safe to say, they were all wondering if she was a new girlfriend. A few did wonder if she was a sister or a relative, but that theory has been debunked. This is because his only sibling is Ryan Truex, and he has two cousins, Curtis Truex Jr, and Tyler Truex. Naturally, the obvious conclusion is that she is a potential girlfriend.
Apparently, the unknown girl had a very familiar face, at first glance. To be precise, they thought that the girl was none other than former NASCAR driver, Danica Patrick. In passing, it can be agreed that there was a slight resemblance, but closer inspection would see the similarities end there.

In the end, Truex Jr’s personal life is his own, and he deserves his privacy. However, it does not stop fans or the media from trying to pry.
