“Bron done that s**t with three teams” – Lil Wayne explains why LeBron James is…
Five-time Grammy winner Lil Wayne isn’t a basketball expert but when Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson asked him about the never-ending GOAT debate, he gave a good take on the topic, even if his choice was biased.
Lil Wayne is a self-confessed Lakers fan so it was no surprise why he picked LeBron James as his NBA GOAT. But Weezy’s reason for his answer is.
“I don’t know ‘Bron personally, so my answer for ‘Bron would be from afar, watching from afar,” Lil’ Wayne said in the upcoming episode of All The Smoke. “… I Love Jordan for the way he f**king always won. … It’s very hard to do. That n***a ‘Bron done that s**t with three teams. Regardless he ain’t got 6, but then he done it with three different teams, and not one of those motherf***ing teams did he play role two.”

“Bron done that s**t with three teams” – Lil Wayne explains why LeBron James is…
In the history of the NBA, only four players have won an NBA championship with three different teams. John Salley won with the Pistons, Bulls, and the Lakers. Robert Horry earned titles with the Rockets, Lakers, and Spurs, while Danny Green was part of the Spurs, Raptors, and Lakers title teams.
Then there is LeBron James, who won his first two championships in Miami, added one in Cleveland, and another one in Los Angeles. But the difference between the four players is the roles they played on their teams.
While Salley, Horry, and Green made key contributions to help their teams win the NBA championship, LeBron was always the best player on his championship teams. In fact, James was able to win a Finals MVP award in each city he won a title with, which even makes it more impressive.
The 40-year-old rapper also gushed about LeBron James’ longevity and his ability to play at a high level for two decades.
“You already know I was Jordan; I couldn’t have that conversation with me until I had to really think like, you know what, slime is still in this s***, you know what I mean, slim is f****** amazing, he’s been amazing every year….’ Bron don’t even know what the middle feels like. So that right there is amazing. I mean his longevity and whatever he did to his body or whatever….he must be praying a million times he got protected, you know what I mean, and I respect it,” Lil Wayne said.
